More cards

Just a couple more cards I made this week. I tell ya...these birthdays just never end lol.

Thought I'd get busy last week and do something useful. I decided to make a trolley for my son's bird cage and I have to say, I'm wrapped with how it turned out. (keeping in mind its made of scrap wood) I even used my husband's mitre saw and the jigsaw.

Well....here it is....the last of the april birthday cards and might I say, the best one yet. The best card for my best friend. Happy birthday to Fiona for the 28th! :)

This is number 6, only one more left to show you. I really enjoyed making these and I think I will definately make more cards instead of buying generic cards. It's a pity I cant think of funny stuff to put on them.....hmmm maybe thats my next challenge!

This is one of the 7 cards I made for the birthdays in April. It's not overly fancy but for an 8 year old boy I think it's okay.

This is another simple thing I found on that same web site. Made this to put a gift card in for my husband's son. I have used the same card that I made his birthday card out of.

The lovely Miss Linda directed me to a site that had a video on how to make these cute but very simple cards so I thought I'd have a go. Mine is smaller than the one they made but still very nice. Thanks Linda! :)

Nerima Gardens

Well today I just wanted to get out of the house so I visited the Nerima Gardens in Ipswich. Its so peaceful there and just beautiful, if you get a chance its well worth a look. Of course I took a few pictures while I was there. :)

Back at last, forgot my password and couldn't get in to add to my blog. Haven't done alot of scrapping lately but have made cards, and this one i remembered to take a picture of. Made this one for my son's birthday. Since I have 7 birthdays in april, I will be making more and I'll add them as I go hopefully.
